The first race of the year takes place on the morning of the Sunday of the week prior to the weekend of the 2020 Jambur races. When the start is finally made, the runner is required to begin his or her journey running along the road, through the village and along the hills. The course takes its initial bends and turns slowly through the village as well, and then travels down to the sea and back again over the crest of the hill.
